Cardinal Joseph W. Tobin, C.Ss.R.

Cardinal Joseph W. Tobin, C.Ss.R., is the Sixth Archbishop of Newark, installed on January 6, 2017. He is a member of the Joint International Commission for Theological Dialogue between the Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church, Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life, Synod of Bishops, Congregations for Catholic Education, Pontifical Council for culture, Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity, Council for the Economy, and Congregation for Bishops. 

Sister Alicia Torres, FE

Sister Alicia Torres, FE is a member of the Franciscans of the Eucharist of Chicago, a religious community that carries out the mission of the Church through service to the poor, evangelization, and teaching.

She studied theology at Loyola University Chicago (BA), earned the Master of Divinity degree at Mundelein Seminary, and received her Master of Arts in Teaching from Dominican University in River Forest. She works at the Mission of Our Lady of the Angels on Chicago’s West Side, serves as vocation director for her religious community, and as a religion teacher in an inner-city Catholic School.

Sr. Alicia competed in and won the Food Network’s Chopped in 2015 and has contributed articles to several online and print media outlets, including First Things, Catholic News Service, and America Magazine. Since July 2021, she’s served on the Executive Team for the USCCB’s National Eucharistic Revival and is the managing editor of Heart of the Revival, the weekly e-newsletter of the National Eucharistic Revival. 

Michel Picaud, President, Friends of Notre-Dame de Paris

Michel Picaud is President of Friends of Notre-Dame de Paris, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds to accelerate the restoration of the iconic Paris cathedral, a position he has held since its incorporation in October 2016.

Prior to that Michel served as COO for International Markets of the Demos Group, one of the main European learning and development companies, and as President and CEO of HR Access Solutions, a leading Human Resources software provider part of Fidelity Investments.

Michel was also SVP for Orange Business Services/Equant, CEO of Alcatel Réseaux d’Entreprise. He worked for the Bosch Telecom Group in France and in Germany.

He is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique Paris, Mines ParisTech and Telecom ParisTech.

He is married and is the proud father of four sons and two daughters and grandfather of one granddaughter.
